Under the *sunny* weather.

Having a fluey cold in the summertime is the worst sort of joke.
I want to be out in the sunshine.
Not shivering under a duvet, sleeping my day away.

Anyhow, less grump.
I am off to my Mums house, to work on some sewing/patchwork.
I will no doubt update later :)

Lovely Saturday...

Firstly a LONG overdue update.

A baby book for Harry...(shhhh don't tell!)
And felted corsages. i love it, so quick and easy.
Then came home to James and this fantastilicious website.
What better way to spend a day?

Crikey

Long time no see.
Life has stepped up to a whole new gear recently.
I'm not sure if it is just the absence of sun this summer...but I have been feeling decidedly sorry for myself and utterly lethargic as of late.

However, I have managed to muster some creative enthusiasm in sewing again! The idea that seems to have gone well at my Patchwork class has been my Christmas bunting. I have collected so much fabric over the years that I decided to put it to good use! Some may call it wishful thinking, but I am proposing to make the majority of my christmas presents this year. Saving for houses doesn't come cheap you know!Anyway, this christmas bunting is made up with a relitvely non-chirstmas backing fabric one one side, and a little Christmas message saying *wish*upon*a*little*star* on various mixed fabrics.

How should a girl spend an evening?
Crashed out watching one of her favourite films of all time :)

Such a perfect day..... and flickr friends

Such a lovely spent with the boy, going to the park, feeding the ducks....having fun. We spend every second we can together just hanging out :)
He is my bestest friend.
Talking of friends, on flickr, one of mine is Charlie
Her photos are so very beautiful, her self portraits are one of the most honest and pure captures I have seen on flickr. She is becoming a good friend too :)

prickly days

It just been one of those days you know? It has just rolled on from last night, (when I dropped the biggest jar of peanut butter on my toe) and its carried on today in all its descructive glory. My head feels ready to explode and Im so tiredly grumpy. Not such an attractive quality :)

It's one of those days, where I'm feeling decidedly prickly, and like our dear friends the hedgehogs, want to go hibernate. So I made a new friend (no i didnt make him, I *wish* I had....)and used him as something to smile about :)

We had a good weekend exploring our local life, and cooking on mother's day for both our mums :) it was a gooooooooooooood weekend.
